Hacking and Hardening Windows training takes a deep look into Windows security features and how to configure it in order to minimize the attack surface. The aim is to provide Security Professionals not only attack techniques, but countermeasures and secure configuration to protect their IT infrastructure. This course is built on the latest Windows OS (Windows 7 / 8, Windows server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2) to ensure that students are up to date in terms of securely configuring the current systems we use now in our environments.
Understand how to secure Windows clients, servers, and network communications. Students will also learn to harden web services and databases, as well as using Microsoft Roles and other features to secure the environment.
