This 5-day course focuses on the IT organization’s ability to plan, deliver, manage and support IT services on a daily basis. PPO helps organizations implement the PPO best practices in their organization to ensure that services meet the customer expectations of utility (“fit for purpose”) and warranty (“fit for use”). PPO also helps IT organizations understand how to balance customer demands and needs with IT costs and capacity.
The ITIL PPO is intended to enable the holders of the certificate to apply the practices during the service management lifecycle and specifically in the following key ITIL processes, roles and function areas: Capacity management, Availability management, IT service continuity management, Information security management, Demand management, Challenges, critical success factors and risks for planning, protection and optimization
Individuals who have their ITIL Foundation Certificate who want to purse the intermediate and advanced level ITIL certifications.
Individuals who require a deeper understanding of the Planning Protection and Optimization processes and how these may be used and how these may be used to enhance the quality of IT service support within an organization, for example: operational staff involved in Capacity Management, Availability Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Information Security Management, Demand Management and Risk Management.
