Course Description

The security overview course is a lecture format training that includes an overview of best practices in the industry and the vulnerabilities and inherent weaknesses in the systems and platforms used by industry professionals. The course will include an overview of the OWASP top 10, C-I-A Triad, privacy, HIPAA, types of attacks and attack vectors, network intrusions, risk identifications, minimum security standards, and implementation strategies to promote more secure cultures in your organization. This course includes customization for organizational policies that need to be reviewed and delivered organization-wide.

This course is designed to engage the whole organization in a paradigm shift towards Cyber Security Awareness. This training can be designed to include all staff members and be engaging on all levels. For Government or University organizations, with many decentralized departments this is a format to bring all areas up to speed on current best practices and awareness.
