Network management overview - identify the key network management components and models. SNMP architecture - identify the goals of SNMP architecture and how elements of the architecture express a solution to network management problems. The structure of management information (SMI) - interpret syntax used to define information contained in a Management Information Base. SNMP operation and message formats - identify the elements of the message types used to retrieve or alter MIB variables. The Management Information Base - identify the key structural elements of the MIB. The RMON MIB - differentiate between the features and functions of RMON and RMON2. SNMP versions 2 and 3 - differentiate between SNMP versions.
