Course Description

Blockchain implementation poses a number of challenges from storage capacity and scalabilty to anonymity and data privacy thus making the protection of existing assets complex. This course provides learners with an understanding of how to secure existing Blockchain assets against security threats.

Learning Objectives

On successful completion of this course, learners should have the knowledge and skills required to:

  • Secure the cryptographic keys that allow access to the ledger
  • Use hardware security modules (HSMs)
  • Ensure the integrity of “Smart Contracts”
  • Protect communications between nodes
