Course Description

This Cloudera training course is available online and in-person. This four-day instructor-led training teaches students about the NoSQL database called Apache HBase. This database constructed on Apache Hadoop is capable of storing large amounts data within its extensive table structure while delivering it in real-time. The course examines the skills for using HBase, manipulating HBase tables, and designing schemas for storage and recovery.

Learning Objectives

Students will learn about the NoSQL database called Apache HBase. Objectives include: Overview of Apache Hadoop, Overview of Apache HBase, HBase and API Administration, HBase API and Data Access, HBase Architecture, HBase Configuration and Installation, Design Types, HBase Schema Design, and the HBase Ecosystem. This course will also prepare students for the CCSHB certification exam.
