Course Description

Successful completion of this exam will demonstrate a candidate's understanding of the application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to federal information systems. The candidate shall demonstrate their knowledge of security and privacy controls and shall exercise their understanding of the six-steps of the RMF which include security categorization, security control selection, security control implementation, security control assessment, information system authorization, and continuous monitoring. The candidate ?shall demonstrate their ability to follow procedures for conducting assessments of the security and privacy controls that support organizational risk management processes.
