Course Description

Successful completion of this exam will demonstrate a candidate's ability to implement The NIST 800- 53 R4 Incident Response, Personal Security and Contingency Planning security controls. The candidate will demonstrate their ability to identify events and incidents along with the need for response. They will demonstrate policy, plan, and procedure elements. The candidate will exhibit their knowledge in understanding and implementing incident response team structures, models, and response personnel. They will be able to demonstrate all steps in handling an incident from preparation to post-incident activities.

Learning Objectives

Successful completion of this exam will demonstrate the candidate's ability to implement an incident response policy which details plans and procedure during for an incident response event. The candidate shall be able to demonstrate the entire process of responding to, taking action and mitigating an incident response event.
