This five-day course provides guidance to System Administrators on mandated network security policies to be implemented on Windows operating system software according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology and other U.S. Government regulations. The training provides Federal government security configuration requirements through large and small group exercises in a safe environment. Labs are provided for hands-on exercises to practice industry-available implementation and monitoring tools.
Recognize vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to information systems.
Manage and apply security controls and countermeasures to system devices per Federal policy.
Ensure continuity of operations for systems.
Follow incident response procedures per Federal policies.
