The Optical Communications Consultant (OC-C) course is a five-day course that provides students with practical experience in planning and designing Optical Communications (OC) networks through case-based exercises and subject matter expert reviews and develops the analytic skills required for designing OC solutions.
Analyze the process of optical design and methodology
Understand the concepts of optical link engineering
Present a OC network solution in a design review scenario
Define a OC network design with:
A set of service definitions that will support the requirements of optical network applications
An optical network transport solution to support service definitions
The physical infrastructure to support the optical transport design
Plans for network commissioning and service verification
Initial requirements for DCN, management and rollout scenario
