Walden University’s Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Cyber Security and Forensic Program is an ABET-accredited program, where students work in cross-functional teams to address real-world IT challenges. Walden University is designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and Walden University is accredited institution by The Higher Learning Commission. An associate degree is a great first step in building an information assurance or cybersecurity career. But a bachelor’s degree can help students advance even further. Walden University is designed to meet the unique needs of adult learners, with graduate-level programs created to help you advance even further in your career. Walden University has cyber security specializations at the bachelors and master’s degree levels, but also has a Doctor of Information Technology program (DIT) where students can tailor their studies to an area of interest in cyber security or information assurance. As part of our 50-year history of educating learners online, we help students maximize what they’ve already learned by accepting transfer credits from their associate, master’s degree, or cyber security certifications towards their bachelor, master’s or doctorate degrees.
