Overview: The Federal Chief Information Officers Council and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management are sponsoring the third cybersecurity orientation for new cybersecurity professionals. Leading Cybersecurity Professionals in the Federal Government will share personal experiences and discuss their career paths. Participants will obtain an understanding of their role in supporting the Federal Government’s cybersecurity mission. The orientation will include keynote speeches from Government leaders, presentations by senior cybersecurity practitioners, a Knowledge Lab that provides information and demonstrations on Cybersecurity tools, and the opportunity to network with other cybersecurity professionals from across the government.
Who Should Attend? This event is free and open to Federal employees in grades GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent) with two years or less of Federal cybersecurity work experience.
