NICCS Introduces: The NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework Mapping Tool

The NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework Mapping Tool enables managers and human capital professionals to submit cyber descriptions to better understand how well their teams align to the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.

The Mapping Tool enables users to enter information about a cyber position, and generate reports to better understand how well their teams align to the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.  This tool helps organizations strengthen their cyber teams.  It takes the guess work out of using the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.

The NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework Mapping Tool is now available to DHS Federal Employees and contractors who are on the DHS network.   Special exceptions can be made for other federal agency employees if they have access to a static IP and submit a request for whitelisting to NICCS@hq.dhs.gov.  Whitelisting requests must include:

  1. Requesters name, government email address and federal agency
  2. Their static IP address

The Mapping Tool is located under the “Workforce Development” menu.

In the near future, the Mapping Tool will be available to the public for general use.  Please stay tuned!
