Inaugural Cybersecurity Orientation Conference Webcast Available

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Federal Chief Information Officers Council hosted the Inaugural Cybersecurity Orientation Conference on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. In case you were unable to attend, a closed captioned recording of the webcast is available (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H-Nq9JCKwQ#t=47m54s) to help new Federal cybersecurity professionals obtain an understanding of their role in supporting the Federal Government’s cybersecurity mission.

Leading cybersecurity professionals in the Federal Government such as Gregory Touhill, Federal Chief Information Security Officer, U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Tony Scott, Federal Chief Information Officer, OMB shared their personal experiences and discussed their career paths during the conference. The audience for this webcast is Federal employees in grades GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent) with two year or less of Federal cybersecurity work experience.
