Course Description

Windows Intune can be used to deploy, manage, and update applications. In this 13-video course, learners can explore Intune and numerous tools available for managing apps and data, in preparation for Microsoft MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops exam. Begin with a look at using Intune as an app management platform and recognizing app types available to be managed in Intune. Then you will learn how to add an app to Intune, and how to deploy different Windows 10 apps. Next, learners will explore how to distribute apps from Microsoft Store for Business and Education. Then you will learn how to deploy Office 365 ProPlus from the cloud and from a local source, and deploy Office 365 ProPlus with System Center Configuration Manager. Next, you will examine the concepts of a process known as side-loading and take a look at using Readiness Toolkit to assess application compatibility. This leads into configuring Internet Explorer to enable Enterprise Mode, and finally, to preparing a device for kiosk configuration. The closing exercise involves working with apps and data.
